WELCOME TO JAIN SOCIETY OF CENTRAL VIRGINIA​

Jain Society of Central Virginia (JSCVA) is primarily a religious, social, non-profit organization with approved 503(c) status. We pursue a goal of practicing, promoting and preserving the Jain religion. During the year many dignitaries from India and other parts of the world visit our center and hold lectures and discourses in Jainism.

Activities in the Temple

  • Temple hosts daily Ashtaprakari Puja, weekly Snatra Puja and Swamivatsalya conducted by Panditvarya – Hitesh Doshi
  • Pathshala for kids is held every Sunday with teachers within the Sangh
  • Bhavna is conducted on last Friday of every month  
  • 8 days full of activities during Paryushan including Lecture, Pratikraman, Bhavna
  • Yearly functions for Mahavir Jayanti, Temple Anniversary, Diwali
